18 Praise be to the LORD God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. 19 Praise be to his glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with his glory. Amen and Amen. (Psalm 72:18-19)

With the psalmist this is our prayer at Calvary Baptist Church; our desire is that those to whom we minister learn to make God's glory their highest aspiration. We realize that within every heart there is a longing for peace, joy and happiness. We believe that this hunger of the human heart cannot be satisfied by anything that this world has to offer. This need can only be met by God himself. For this reason our mission at Calvary is to "Passionately Pursue the Glory of God." When we learn to prize God above all else, He receives the glory of which He is worthy, and the thirsting of our souls is quenched. In God alone is there fulfillment.

If you too desire to find your satisfaction in our great God, we would like to personally invite you to join us at Calvary. Come and be a part of our services as we seek to magnify the Lord, through expositional preaching and teaching, Christ-centered music, prayer, Scripture reading and small group interaction and discussion. We hope that in some way we can make an eternal investment in you and your family.

Our Beliefs:

The Scriptures: We believe the Bible to be inerrant in the original writings and to have been verbally inspired and produced by the Holy Spirit through holy men of old.

The Godhead: We believe there is one and only one living and true Triune God, existing as three persons (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit)

The Father: We believe that God the Father is an infinite and perfect Spirit who is the source and support of all things. He is perfect in perfections and purposes.

The Person and Work of Jesus Christ:  We believe that Jesus Christ is the Eternal Son of God, possessing both absolute deity and perfect humanity. His atoning work on the cross is the grounds for the salvation of mankind. Christ arose bodily from the grave, ascended back into heaven, and is today acting as the believer's advocate and Great High Priest.

The Holy Spirit: We believe that the person of the Holy Spirit is equal in essence to the Father and Son. He is actively involved in the world, both in bringing the lost to salvation and in ministering to the saved.

Salvation: We believe that salvation is by grace through faith, apart from human works and merit.
